After war and especially after natural catastrophes people regularly are in need of medical assistance.

To help the population of countries affected by man-made or natural disasters DEMIRA provides services in the field of medical assistance.

The DEMIRA Emergency Response Unit (ERU) is a quick response task force composed of experienced doctors, surgeons and paramedics, as well as technical and logistics personnel. The ERU is capable of establishing and operating a field hospital to provide emergency medical help to the affected population. Founded in 2005 the ERU was deployed to several countries suffering from earthquakes, floods or bombardment.

DEMIRA also provides medical consulting to help countries developing and improving their health care system.
