Reconstruction of District Hospital in Dhunche
DEMIRA is providing training services to medical staff for the reconstructed district hospital in the city og Dhunche
After fulfilling the basic medical needs of the earthquake victims in Nepal the reconstruction of the local infrastructure is the next priority.
Germany participates in the reconstruction of the district hospital in Dhunche, which was destroyed beyond repair by the earthquake. At the moment, the medical support is provided beside the remains of the old hospital by the Nepalese Red Cross.
To support the local organisations in Dhunche DEMIRA will sent qualified medical staff from Germany to Nepal. In a second step we will develop and implement a training programme following German standards, to qualify the local personnel and to ensure a sustainable health care infrastructure in Dhunche and the surrounding district.
